- WHAT IS THE MONTHLY RATE?
There isn't really a monthly rate. Our properties are classified as transient properties, like a hotel. All billing is done weekly, but you are welcome to pay as many weeks in advance as you'd like. If you want to pay monthly, just multiply the weekly rate x 4. The rate is the same regardless of how many weeks you pay up front.
- DO YOU WORK WITH TRAVELING NURSES AND CONTRACT EMPLOYEES?
Absolutely! We've had hundreds of traveling nurses and contract workers (Amazon, Weitz, PayPal, etc) stay with us while working here in the Phoenix area.
- DO YOU WORK WITH FAMILIES, TOO?
Sure, we do! If you are relocating to the area from out of state, we'd love to work with you while you find your new home. We have plenty of local families stay with us, also.
- IS THERE A MAX NUMBER OF PEOPLE PER APARTMENT?
Yes. We must abide by all building and city ordinances. A maximum of 2 adults and 1 child can stay in a 1 bedroom. 4 adults or 2 adults/2 children in a 2 bedroom apartment.
- CAN I SMOKE IN THE APARTMENT?
100%...NO. It's against city/county ordinances. You must be 100 ft from the building to smoke any cigarette, cigar, marijuana, vape, or religious product. No exceptions.
- CAN I HOLD AN APARTMENT FOR A FEW WEEKS?
Sorry, but no. Our inventory changes daily. We can only do a 24 hour hold, and that must be done with a $200 hold deposit. If you check-in, that $200 will apply toward the initial deposit. If you don't, it's non-refundable. We simply cannot hold apartments longer.
- HOW QUICKLY CAN I MOVE IN?
If we have availability, a same-day move in is possible. Good communication is key here.
- DO YOU PULL CREDIT OR VERIFY INCOME?
No. We know bad things happen to good people, so your credit and income will never be factored into our decisions.
- I HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD. CAN I STILL QUALIFY?
Possibly. We can work with most non-violent and non-sexual crimes. The severity of the crime, time that's passed, and many other factors will enter into our decision. We do a criminal background check on every adult, so please be honest with us up front. This will make the process much easier. We will definitely help if we are able.
- ARE DEPOSITS REQUIRED?
Yes. We do require a one-time non-refundable $150 cleaning fee for a 1 bedroom and $200 for a 2 bedroom. There is a $500 refundable security deposit with your first-week payment. And, there is a $25 application fee for each adult.
- CAN I BRING MY PET?
Possibly. Some of our apartments allow pets…others don’t. Please let us know when you inquire if you do have a pet. An additional non-refundable pet cleaning fee will be required. If the apartment building allows pets, you may have a MAXIMUM of ONE pet.
- CAN I SEE THE APARTMENT FIRST?
Usually not. We have so much demand that our apartments are rarely vacant more than a day or two. So they will usually be occupied until the day the first guest checks out. We will send you photos and often video of the apartment so you can do a virtual walk through. Rest assured, we are not one of these Craigslist scammers doing a bait and switch. After completing the Application, you will have the option to call the apartment building to verify that Canyon (that's us) has an apartment there. Zero risk.
- WILL MY WEEKLY RATE EVER CHANGE?
Possibly. It will all depend on the season. Our rates do fluctuate depending on the time of the year and the demand levels. If you are here for a few months, you’ll be notified at least two weeks in advance of any upcoming seasonal rate changes.
- DO YOU TAKE SECTION-8 OR GOVERNMENT VOUCHERS?
No, we don't.
- HOW DO YOU TAKE THE WEEKLY PAYMENT?
We do not take cash. Zelle or Venmo are acceptable electronic forms of weekly payment for our apartments.
- WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO APPLY?
1. Click on the GET PROPERTY LIST button here and receive the Current Inventory List.
2. Choose a property and complete your Inquiry Form.
3. We will call you to answer any questions and will send you video and photos of the apartment you like.
4. If it works for you, we'll send you a link to do an online Application.
5. We'll set up your move-in day and meet you at the apartment to get the keys.
